Amber enjoyed playing with cat teasers, the turbo scratcher and of course, the cattery's favorite toy, the laser pointer. She was very intense when she played and it was fun to watch her. Amber had been taught to stand up on her hind legs and a few other tricks we taught her.

As time had gone by, Amber's coat had become more red and her marking more defined. We were very excited about watching one of own born at the cattery growing from a tiny kitten into a full size Maine Coon and we enjoyed every day she spent with us.

In 2008, Amber was retired and now lives on a farm in South Carolina. She now gets to look out the window at the chickens and on one occasion, made it out of the house to chase them. Her new owner says that she loves the "retired" life and really enjoys her new home.

We miss Amber very much but we did keep her magnificent son, Spencer Wulf who she passed on some wonderful genes too.
