Our KittensAt Timberkatz, the number one goal is to raise fun loving, strong , healthy and well adjusted kittens. We are not a "kitten mill" or a "backyard breeder" and only have a few litters per year. Our kittens go to their new homes at the minimum age of 12 weeks old, 14 weeks if the kitten is being shipped domestically. And yes, we do ship but prefer to place our kittens locally. Our cats are shown a few times a year at cat shows but we hope to increase our frequency of showing of our Maine Coons in the coming years. Timberkatz is registered with the following cattery registries: ACFA, CFA, CFF & TICA. At Timberkatz, we make every attempt to stay in contact with our customers and track the progress of all of the kittens that have been born at the cattery. Even after the kittens leave our home, they are still part of our lives and we encourage our customers to send updated pictures to post in the Timberkatz Photo Gallery. This gives a place for our customers to show their Maine Coon pictures for free and we get to see how our kitten has grown. Even after the kittens have gone to their new homes, Timberkatz is a resource for the new owners for the life of the cat and we are happy to any answer questions about their newest family member. Below is a set of information that we provide for those in the process of purchasing a kitten. We hope that you look over this information since it is there as a resource for your benefit and will give you a good idea of what to look for when trying to purchase a little furr ball to bring home. Purchasing a Timberkatz Kitten Lastly, if you've already purchased a kitten or want to kitten proof your house. Here is a Timberkatz original article entitled: How to Kitten Proof Your Home |
